How To Take Care Your Car From A to Z

The Tips to Take Care of Your Car

New car model requires less frequent services because some of the annoying servicing needs such as cleaning the body rust, changing breaker points, or replacing spark plugs are related to aging. However, your automobile still deserves some periodic checks, repair work, and clean up Jobs. Let’s take a look at 6 ways of taking car care:

Engine Oil

Generally, many drivers change engine oil depending on the type of model of the vehicle and engine oil grade. For example, Mineral oils should be exchanged when they reach 5,000 km or 2 months, Semi synthetic oils at 7,000 km or 3 months and Fully synthetic oils at 10,000km or 5 months. Check the oil level regularly and keep an eye for a leak. If the level is low, fill the tank up but don’t overfill.

Check the engine oil and other fluid levels with a dipstick.

Transmission Fluid

The cap to the fluid cylinder is sealed in many new models with an automatic gearbox. If your car is not one of them, check the fluid level when the engine is warmed up and running.

Tires Air Pressure

Look in the owners’ manual or on the inside of the driver’s side door for the standard cold tire inflation pressure. This number is the lowest PSI one would inflate the tires to and is suggested by the car’s manufacturer.
